Summer Lecture Series in Jewish History at Dartmouth
Distinguished psychoanalyst and feminist theorist Jessica Benjamin will discuss an article of hers, “Beyond Doer and Done To: An Intersubjective View of Thirdness,” that appeared in the Psychoanalytic Quarterly in 2004. The article forms the basis for her recent work on acknowledgment that has led her to collaborative work in several ares of political tension, including a major project with Israeli and Palestinian psychotherapists. Attendance at the seminar requires preregistration and those attending are expected to have read her article ahead of time. To register and receive a copy of the article, please write to Susannah.Heschel@Dartmouth.edu
